*50/50 Unlimited is a separate match. A club can schedule either regular 50/50 matches or Unlimited matches.......or both.
50/50 rules apply except for the following additions and/or changes:
Unlimited scope, unlimited weight, any rest is legal, and pistols are legal. Gun and/or rest cannot be attached to the bench. No electronic or mechanically assisted triggers.
Course of fire: 20 minutes
Match definition: An Unlimited match contests 3 targets. Targets are to be designated as UL-1, UL-2, and UL-3 before they are hung by target crew.

Match Requirements
An Unlimited match can be scheduled any day of the week. There are no restrictions on the start time. The maximum number of matches that can be scheduled at one club per year is 12, which includes State/Regional Championships and the Unlimited Nationals. For scheduling purposes the Unlimited Nationals will count as two matches. A maximum of four matches can be scheduled per month. A maximum of two matches can be scheduled per day. An Unlimited regular match can be scheduled any day of the week. There are no restrictions on the start time. For Unlimited Championship matches, 50/50 day of the week restrictions will apply. Only one Unlimited match can be scheduled on the same day as a regular 50/50 match. All competitors on each relay must be contesting the same target number. Targets must be contested in the following order: UL-1, UL-2, UL-3. First, second, and third place will be contested for each target number.
Championships: Unlimited State or Regional Championships will be contested at 50 yards and 50 meters and both distances may be scheduled on the same day. A 3 target aggregate ( UL-1, UL-2, and UL-3 ) will ONLY be contested at Unlimited State and Regional Championships and the Unlimited Nationals. The Unlimited Nationals will be contested at 50 yards and 50 meters. At the Unlimited Nationals ONLY, a 6 target agg will be contested.
Three Target Agg ties: Referees will check score of UL-1 target to determine winner. Highest score shot wins. If tie still exists, check score of UL-2 target. Highest score shot wins. If tie still exists, check targets beginning with UL-1 target as stated under "TIES".
Six Target Agg ties: Referees will check score of UL-1 target at 50 yards to determine winner. Highest score wins. If tie still exists, check score of UL-2 target at 50 yards. Highest score wins. If tie still exists, check score of UL-3 target at 50 yards. Highest score wins. If tie still exists, check UL-1 target at 50 meters. Highest score wins. If tie still exists, check UL-2 target at 50 meters. Highest score wins. If tie still exists, check UL-1 target at 50 yards as stated under "TIES".
Unlimited SOTY/ Unlimited Club Champions: Five Unlimited SOTY matches must be scheduled. Best four out of five agg scores from the five scheduled Unlimited SOTY matches will determine the winners. An agg score is the total of the scores shot for all three targets at one day's match. A competitor who shoots all five matches will drop his worse total one day agg score. A competitor must shoot at least four matches, shooting three targets at each match, to be eligible. There will be three "Unlimited Club Champion" titles contested at each club: 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place. Perfect score is 3000-300x. The National "Unlimited Shooter of the Year" will be the Unlimited Club Champion 1st place winner with the highest agg score in the country. In case of a tie, the results of the first SOTY match, beginning with UL-1 target, will be checked. Highest score shot on UL-1 target will win. If a tie still exists, the UL-2 target will be checked for highest score. If tie still exists, the UL-3 target will be checked for highest score. If tie still exists, the results from the second SOTY match, beginning with UL-1 target will be checked and so on.
Unlimited Score Line: The total of the highest 12 individual targets shot at any Unlimited match between January 1 through December 31. Tiebreaker: The highest single score shot. If a tie still exists, the next highest score will be used and so on.
Hall of Fame: Hall of Fame points will be awarded for Club titles, the National Unlimited SOTY title, the Score Line Champion, The Gold 12, The Silver 6, The Bronze 6, Unlimited 50Y and 50M State and Regional Championships, the Unlimited Nationals, and Unlimited World Records. See Section V USRA Hall of Fame for number of points awarded.
